My father, Richard Lewis Webert, started Mid America Service while I was in high school after working for General Electric for many years. Wanting to help him grow a successful business, I worked for the company on and off through high school and college. 

After graduating with a degree in Psychology and working toward attending medical school, I found myself becoming more and more involved in the business and the appliance service industry. Through my desire to work alongside my dad and help build a company that could be generational, I became deeply engaged in all aspects of Mid America Service. 

I’ve been part of PSA for one year. Being familiar with PSA through industry leaders such as Randy Carney and Linda Knudsen, I was interested in learning more about the organization and how I could contribute my knowledge and skills while continuing to grow professionally. I’ve learned that surrounding yourself with people who share similar goals and understand what it takes to be successful is invaluable. 

Professionally, I’m proud of the eight years I volunteered on an industry board, serving as Secretary and Vice President. I’ve also written an industry article for The Retail Observer and contributed a monthly “Tip & Trick” for a website for many years. Throughout my career, I’ve been grateful to teach several classes on Warranty Claims, including rules and policies. 

Personally, I’m most proud of adopting several dogs from abusive situations and/or with special needs, including a dog rescued from a Korean meat farm and a deaf-born Pomsky.
